Hon'ble Speaker of Loksabha Shri Om Birla had a virtual meeting with Europen Parliament President, H.E. Mr. David Sassoli via virtual conference on 13th January 2021. They exchanged views on ways to strengthen parliamentary contacts between the two largest Parliaments in the world.

The EU was represented by Mr. Charles Michel, President of the European Council, and Ms. Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.
